About Village Guards

How does it work?

Village Guards are new mobs added to Minecraft. In the previous version of the addon they were actually just wither skeletons that had been modded, but thanks to the latest and greatest Minecraft addon capabilities, Village Guards are now completely separate, brand new custom mobs!

To hire a swordsman, just give an iron helmet to a villager. To hire an archer, give a bow to a villager. It's that easy!

How to install Village Guards

1. Download the .mcaddon file using the button on this page.
2. Open the downloaded file with Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
3. Wait for Minecraft to confirm that the import has completed.
4. Activate the imported pack in the world settings.
5. Back up important worlds before installing community content.
